Hi friends! Welcome to our newly established little slice of the internet! This is a place where Kade and I hope to share the story of our precious little twin girls with our family and friends. It has been a journey for us since early November, when we first saw those two little heartbeats flickering on the ultrasound monitor. That is a moment neither of us will ever forget. It was the beginning of a new chapter in our marriage and in our lives. Since that day, we have been learning that God is in control - always. And in the difficult moments when we don't understand His plan, we must allow grace into our lives - grace for one another, and perhaps most difficult of all, grace for ourselves. I have leaned many times on one of my favorite versus focused on this powerful 5-letter word:
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
When we decided to make this blog come to life, the name came quite naturally - as each day, we are Simply Living Grace.
